Following the sad demise of Thomas Cook, there have been millions of more seats added for British holiday makers for summer 2020 to replace holidays that Thomas Cook offered.
TUI Airways have added 2 million extra seats from their bases at airports all over the UK to popular tourist destinations such as Majorca, Cyprus, Turkey and Greece.
Extra aircraft will be based at main airports such as Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and Gatwick as well as additions at regional airports such as Doncaster and Newcastle. Newcastle will see an additional fortnightly flight to Florida to complement it's existing weekly flight as well as multiple flights to Cancun in Mexico.
Jet2 have also announced an additional seven aircraft for their main bases of Birmingham (3 aircraft) and Manchester (4 aircraft). New destinations include Lesvos, Kalamata and Skiathos in Greece.
